The Challenges We Faced
One of the most crowded chiropractic markets in the country
Los Angeles has hundreds of chiropractic, sports medicine and pain clinics competing for the same Westside searches. Century City and Marina del Rey both sit inside dense, high-value map pack territory.
Visibility stuck on page three
An average position of 28.6 meant almost none of the practice’s treatment pages surfaced where patients actually click. Impressions existed; the rankings to convert them did not.
A templated practice website
The site runs on a Tebra practice-website template, which limits control over URL structure, schema markup, heading hierarchy and page speed. Every technical fix had to work inside those constraints.
Two offices, one brand
Century City and Marina del Rey needed to rank independently for their own neighbourhood searches, without the two locations cannibalising each other for the same “chiropractor near me” terms.
Symptom searches with nowhere to land
Patients search “sciatica,” “herniated disc” and “migraine” long before they search “chiropractor.” The site had service pages but little content answering the symptom, cost and what-to-expect questions that come first.
YMYL credibility and an out-of-network model
As a health site, it needed clear practitioner credentials and stronger review signals. The practice also doesn’t directly bill insurance, so content had to justify the value of care to patients paying out of pocket.

Our Approach & Solutions
Keyword research and search intent mapping
We built a keyword map across three layers — treatments (spinal decompression, cold laser, knee decompression), symptoms (sciatica, migraine, herniated disc, neuropathy) and locations — then assigned every term a single owning page, so the two offices and eight service pages never competed for the same query.
Technical SEO within platform limits
We resolved crawl and indexation issues, rebuilt heading hierarchy, improved Core Web Vitals and mobile usability, cleaned up internal redirects, and implemented LocalBusiness, Physician and FAQ schema — all within what the Tebra template allows.
On-page optimisation across every service page
Titles, meta descriptions, H1s and body copy were rewritten across all eight service pages using symptom-first language, real treatment detail and Los Angeles intent — with a clear next step (call or book online) on every page instead of a dead end.
Two-location local SEO
We optimised both Google Business Profiles, built out distinct Century City and Marina del Rey location pages targeting their own neighbourhood terms, corrected NAP consistency across directories and health listings, and strengthened review velocity for each office independently.
Patient-intent content and internal linking
We published articles written for the questions patients actually type — sciatica relief in Los Angeles, migraine care, why patients travel for treatment, the story behind the practice — then wired each one into the matching service and location pages so topical authority compounded instead of sitting in an isolated blog.
Authority building, tracking and continuous optimisation
We earned relevant health and local links, built citations and brand mentions, and reviewed Search Console and GA4 every month — reallocating effort toward the pages and queries showing the fastest movement rather than running a fixed checklist for 11 months.
